The last week for us, had been busy on the wedding front, from marriage preparation to menu tasting and sending the first batch of invites out! Super exciting!

So first thing is if you’re having a church wedding do you have marriage preparation? We were so dubious about this to start with as we’ve been together nearly 10years, nothings going to change but my name. However this was a great day for us focusing on after that “one” wedding day and focusing on our marriage together. It really does make you think. We learnt a lot, from new ways of talking with each other, financial management to family relationships.

They let thing to take forward was about learning to listen and communicate effectively!

After a great day learning lots of new things and meeting some awesome couples we then got onto trying our menus! Yummmm! If I’m honest we didn’t know what to expect at all. The hotels restaurant where we are getting married has 3 Rosettes and won they best hotel restaurant award last year!! So being foodies we were keen to see what it was all about, and it did not let us down, the service was great and the food was delicious!

As you can imagine after all that food, we walked out about a stone heavier! But in such excitement for our big day!
