Today I am going to talk about the 3 different types of stressor we put on our body.

  1. Physical – accidents, posture how we sit etc
  2. Chemical – Products we put on our skin, tablets we take etc
  3. Emotional – Relationships, deadlines, bosses etc

We often see a lot of resources out there for physical and emotional stress. However, being someone who is always looking into what’s in certain things, there’s very little out there actually talking about the way in which we can help reduce chemical stressors on our body. In the next few posts, I am going to be showing and sharing tips and tricks we use in our home to reduce the chemicals we have in and around us.


Today I want to talk about chemicals and our perception of what chemicals are. When we are talking about chemical stressors that can affect us we are looking at chemicals that are in our everyday products, skincare, washing powder, cleaning products, makeup, food and smellies. What we are putting in and around our bodies can contribute to the stress we are putting through our system without even knowing about.
